En mai 2006, la BBC a diffusé un documentaire en deux parties sur le sujet du Logiciel Libre et de son utilisation dans le cadre du développement des pays "pauvres", puis l'a diffusé sous les termes de la licence Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 license.

Plutôt que de paraphraser, je vous renvoie sur ces quelques ressources :

games-action/teeworlds - Melting pot of Quake Worms Mario

Teeworlds is an addictive network game that mixes Quake weapons with Worms strategy in a Mario-like playfield.

The game runs on Windows, Linux, MacOS.

The ebuild is not in Portage (yet), but you can grab it directly from one of the developper's SVN.

x11-terms/yeahconsole a Quake-like xterm

I used to be a yakuake user. But yakuake requires Konsole and the Almighty KDE Stuff. Since I am a fluxbox user again, I was looking for a replacement, and finaly found yeahconsole.

Installation

I am a Gentoo user, so I'll use an ebuild. yeahconsole is not in Portage as of 2007 so we use the bugzilla ebuild.

# ebuild yeahconsole-0.3.4.ebuild digest

At this point you might want to update your eix database:

# update-eix

Then just emerge yeahconsole:

GNU tools: from UNIX to Windows

Windows lacks of the GNU tools that make a UNIX session powerful, but there are some projects to port these to Windows.

I don't use them, but I was asked about it so here we go.

Quoted from the homepages:

UnxUtils: Here are some ports of common GNU utilities to native Win32. In this context, native means the executables do only depend on the Microsoft C-runtime (msvcrt.dll) and not an emulation layer like that provided by Cygwin tools.
GnuWin32: GnuWin32 provides Win32 (MS Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista) ports of tools with a GNU or similar open source license.

A long time ago, Free.fr released within their connection CD a bundle of various UNIX tools 4 Windows.
